low power audio amplifier portfolio includes amplifiers for stereo
headphones, speakers (up to 8 W), microphone preamplifiers, and
integrated audio solutions (headphone and speaker drivers).
The main applications for these audio amplifiers are battery-powered
or low-power devices, such as mobile phones, PDAs, laptop computers
and DVD/MP3 players. Designed with compactness in mind, they are
available in the smallest packages around: flip-chip, DFN/QFN
chip-scale packages and mini-SO8.
Some devices can add special audio features to portable devices,
such as the 3D surround sound effects offered by the new TS4997.
